LiJOT coordinator of international affairs Rita Jonušaitė October 19th-20th was participating in European Education, Training and Youth Forum 2015 “ New Priorities for European Cooperation in Education, Training and Youth" organized by European Commission in Brussels. This year‘s forum took place against the background of the planned adoption in 2015 of Joint Council-Commission Reports on the Strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020), and on the renewed Framework for European cooperation in the youth field.
The Forum gathered participants from the countries participating in the Erasmus+ Programme, including national, regional and other public authorities, learning providers, youth organisations, civil society organisations, social partner organisations and business.
During the plenary sessions, TED like talks and interactive workshops participants discussed about the role of education, training and youth work in promoting equity, non-discrimination, fundamental values, intercultural competences and active citizenship.
